Sean Helverson

Sean leads our Asset Owner practice, bringing a dedicated service to family offices, endowments, foundations, OCIOs, and the broader LP community, with a focus on Chief Investment Officer, Chief Operating/Financial Officer, and broader investment and operational leadership searches. He leverages his ten-year recruiting track record, specialized network, and personal approach with clients to deliver differentiated and lasting talent, which he recognizes as the cornerstone of a successful investment office.

Prior to joining Maven Partnership, he spent six years at David Barrett Partners, where he focused on senior Asset Owner and Private Markets searches.

Sean studied International Relations and German at Bucknell University. Outside of work, he spends his time with his wife, family, and friends in the tri-state area. He has an appreciation for new restaurants and cuisine, slowly improving to bogies in his golf game, and, true to his recruiting nature, meeting new people and hearing their stories.
