Lewis Ward

Lewis is a Partner in our Investment Management team, leading both our Commodities and Discretionary practices across the US, Europe and Asia.

Before joining Maven Partnership, Lewis worked at a boutique commodity search firm in London, where he partnered with key hedge fund and investor-backed clients. He was responsible for placing business heads, senior revenue generators, and entire teams across trading, research, and analytics - covering both fundamental and quantitative disciplines. Lewis also delivered retained competitor analysis and market intelligence projects to support clients’ growth and hiring strategies, advising on new market entries, geographic expansion, as well as the benchmarking and enhancement of existing platforms.

Earlier in his career, Lewis spent time at Blackwood Group, rotating across the firm’s Financial Services and Corporate practices. He began his career at Rice Search Partners (formerly Rice & Dore Associates) focusing on commodities across trading, origination, structuring, technology, principal investing, research, and analytics globally for a select group of hedge fund and trade house clients.
