Gaurav Sethi

Gaurav founded the firm in 2007 - blissfully unaware of the financial crisis about to unfold. Since then, he has grown the firm from a single London office into a global talent advisory firm with a strong presence in New York, London, Dubai and Hong Kong.

Over the years, Gaurav has led senior-level searches across Global Banking, Investment Management, and Global Markets. Today, he focuses on our most strategic mandates and long-standing client relationships. Prior to Maven Partnership, he led the Asia-Pacific practice at a major international search firm.

Before entering the world of talent advisory, Gaurav spent several years in academia, earning Master's degrees from both the University of Edinburgh and the University of Cambridge.

Outside of work, Gaurav is often exploring new interests-ranging from golf to Mandarin (although he now mostly enjoys the latter through his children).
