Charles Betts

Charles is a Senior Associate in our Investment Management team.

He focuses on buy-side mandates across global macro, rates, and commodities, partnering with hedge fund clients on searches spanning trading, research, and quantitative functions. He works closely with portfolio managers and investment leadership teams supporting discretionary and systematic strategies.

Prior to joining Maven Partnership, Charles built experience in front-office search across fixed income and macro markets, with global coverage across buy-side and sell-side institutions. This exposure provides a broad market perspective that supports his work with hedge fund clients today.

Outside of work, Charles enjoys social deduction board games and regularly hosts board game nights. He has a strong interest in philosophy and takes part in monthly discussion groups, alongside a broader curiosity for learning and new ideas. He enjoys exploring London through food and new neighbourhoods, likes to keep himself busy experimenting with technology and small programming projects, and is currently taking his first steps in learning Mandarin.
